Merry Christmas (mele kaliki maka)

"Let it snow! Let is snow! Let it snow!" That is my favorite Christmas song. As most of you know, it is constantly stuck in my head, year-round! It was such a blessing to come back home and get so many snow blizzards! Christmas in Hawaii was just not the same without snow, I must say! I had a lot of fun getting to stay with Gia in L.A. for a few days. It was so lovely to see my growing nephews, and hear Jonathan say Ree-wee! I missed my family SO much. My friends in HI and I counted down the days until we got to come home, we were so excited! (if you don't count today and you don't count Christmas...only () days until Christmas!) LOL! And it was exciting to see my family, my friends and my puppy! I enjoyed my Christmas, and I am so thankful for the time I spent with everybody. I do look forward to my Spring semester, and will keep you all updated in my adventures!

Wow! I am getting old, I can harldy believe it myself. I don't feel like I am ninteen...yet. This is my last year as a teenager, woah...I won't be able to be a "teenie bopper" anymore, and that was FUN. But I will make sure this year is everything I am hoping it to be. I am so excited! My birthday was SO much fun. I thank everyone for all their lovely cards and gifts : ) They were all so sweet. My friends here in Hawaii made my day really special too.
This Thanksgiving was definitely not the typical thanksgiving day... this is why: it was a warm sunshinee day, and my friends and I got to go to the beach, I even got to SURF again! It was great that my family got to see me on the Waikiki Beach Camera. That was so cool : ) Dinner was spent at our pastors house, and it was delicious! I am so thankful to God who has blessed me with such lovely friends and family. You guys are so great! I am also thankful for the beach, sun, palm trees, polaroid photos, sand, YoungLife, music, christmas songs, talking on the phone, tutoring, laughing, Campus Crusade for Christ, carmello puppy, sharing memories, having adventures, living my life to the fullest, dancing, smiling :)... those are just a few of course!

Lovely sunset view from my dorm window!

I'm a MeRmAiD!!! I bought this dress at a thrift store... but it was a few sizes too big, so I made some alterations and added more style to it with some thread and a needle. (I wish I had a photo of how it looked before!)

my pumpkin!

Sarah and I at Latin Dance Night!

I won this pumpkin at Latin Dance Night at the YMCA!!! I carved it myself... with a star on it's cheek and lovely long eyelashes. I was hoping to decorate it with rhinestones too, but didn't get the chance! Jonny and Aiden, I wish we could have carved it together :(

XOXO HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! XOXO
Hey everybody! I miss you all so so so much. I am certainly looking forward to Christmas. I have been happily busy with... tutoring elementary kids, avon, school, studying, Young Life, Cru, and also learning tahitian and hula dance! It has all been wonderful. But sometimes I get caught up with these activites and lose sight of what my ultimate focus is, and that is my personal relationship with God! So when you get caught up in your everyday busy and hectic lives... take a moment and figure out what really is important in your life. As you know, we were struck with an earthquake a few weeks ago. That disaster has really put my life into a new light! Each moment in your life is precious and shall not be taken for granted. Each breath we take is a blessing! I am so happy to be here in lovely Hawai'i! I want you all to know how special you all are to me and that I love you all much!!! Take care, and I will be in touch. :) XOXO Reva
